About Me
Coach Star is a former Division I softball player who competed at both Texas A&M and the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), capping her career with an appearance in the Women’s College World Series. A dynamic outfielder and left-handed slapper, she built her reputation on speed, defensive range, and the ability to create instant offense against elite competition.
She began her collegiate career at Texas A&M, where she excelled as an outfielder—primarily in center and left field—batting .267 with a .365 on-base percentage in her final season. Known for her speed, situational savvy, and timely hits in big moments. Star then transferred to Ole Miss for her final year of eligibility, where she became a key contributor in 37 games, hitting .333, recording two RBIs, six stolen bases, and 16 runs scored—all while maintaining a perfect fielding percentage.
Coach Star specializes in hitting, slapping, outfield play, and base running, with a coaching philosophy rooted in technical instruction, confidence building, and game strategy. Her athletes benefit not only from her skills and knowledge, but also from the mindset and preparation that carried her to success on the biggest stage in college softball.
